84R magneto timing mark

is there any benefit from playing with this. i would like to advance my timing for even more better throttle response but i don't know which side to go first. bring it down or higher then the mark??? don't want to mess with trying in the bad way.

yes there is a difference
one way gives more topend (over rev)
the other gives ya more bottom
try it bolth ways thats what i did
just leave the cover off ,and try it ?--2 screws and the mag bot its not that hard
and you will learn the difference for your self---- so you dont wonder any more
rite it down on paper----let us know what you deside which was better
