finished up my 200x motor last night ,it started in a few kicks and idled fine and I cut it off, I have a lot of time and money in it and I want to break it in right. what do you guys recommend? My rear sits very low is there a way to raise it up or do you have to rebuild the rear shock? thanks BigT:D

Just don't hi rev it for extended periods of time for the first tank of gas or so. Double check your exhaust valve lash, replace the oil a couple of times and go for it !

I put a fan blowing on the engine and run it at about 1500 RPM for two hours.
remove fenders and air box. the pipe will get hot and melt them just setting there. That is pre breakin. then you have to ride it going through all the gears up and down never going over 3/4 throttle. I would put a good 10 hours on it before full throttle. This is just one way to do it.

some people will say just ride it like your going to ride it. no breakin.

I put a fresh top end on my 350x earlyer this year. I started on a fresh oil change and rode around on primeum with out lugging at low speeds or reving higher then 1/2 throttle for 30 miles. Then changed the oil and rode it like normal. At first it seemed to run a lil bit lean but when it was jetted right, WHOOOM. The rings seated and it rode like a champ.
