Problem with 185s

I am trying to sell my freedbie 185. Well it didnt have a slide needle or cable but if you put gas down the carb it would start rev and die. I put in the cable needle and slide and it still does it. How do i fix it or whats wrong with it cuz i think i have people coming to look at it tommorrow.

Sounds like the carb is still out of adjustment. Try pulling the carb off if you havnt all ready and give it a good cleaning out. Then make sure your jets are set right. And that you have gas flowing from the tank to the carb and that your petcok in the tank isnt plugged up.

It's running out of gas.:( Check for fuel flow to the carb.;)
