I have an aftermarket setup that mounts under the rear fenders onto the frame and includes a scoop to direct air through the aircooler under the rear fenders. You have to drill and tap the engine cover to install the oil lines. I have some pictues of the kit, but I'm in the process of trying to get my new computer up and download my pictures of my old hard drive onto my new computer. I will let you know when I can send you the pictures.

Give me some time to try and get my pics off my old hard drive transferred to my new computer. It would be a pretty simple set-up to recreate. The cooler isn't very big and the hardest part would be the scoop, which has actually been slated to have a mold made for it, so you may see the scoops popping up soon. Things have gotten pretty crazy since my home computer went down, but I'm back online at home and trying to get my new computer straightened out. There are pics posted over on 3ww if you can't wait and want to go over there and do a search. I've found it easier to post pics over there, than over here for some reason.

There is a thread over at 3wheelerworld that shows pics and discussion, have you taken a look a that? It's not a super clean trike, but it shows where the oil lines have to enter the side case.

I would like some pics also. Only thing I can seem to find is pictures of standard oil cooler install and nothing with the lines going to the top of the head. I would really like to do this to mine when it comes rebuild time this winter.

I know what you’re talking about. Curtis Sparks used to build motors with an oil cooler with the return line running up to the head. It was done to compensate for the pressure loss to the head from running the oil cooler. I ask CS if they could mod a motor for me with the same set-up about a year ago and he flat out said NO that he didn't have the time to fool with that kind of work. BS if you ask me. I wouldn't buy anything from him today. :loser: The guys at XR's Only can do it.

I'm sending in some work for them to do and this is one of the thing I wanted them to do. Talk to Freddie.

I would really like to see some pics and know what is all done. I have access to the tools to do it I just dont want to screw anything up and do it wrong. lol
If I have to send it out thats fine too but would be cool to save some cash and plus being able to say I did it myself. :)
Thank you for the info. If anyone one has more info on this please post it up. :D
