just wondering if anybody can explain the carb settings on this puppy . there is the idle screw and a screw on top of it but is not a air mix screw just wondering if anybody knows what this might be.
Thanks in advance trikes are a great part of my outdoor recreation and as always safety first !!!! trike on :booty:

I believe you are referring to the idle mixture screw. It's located on the under side of the carb. The setting is 1 - 2 turns out from a lightly seated position.

first of all welcome to the site! do you have a pic of this setup you're referring to?

no i wish i had a pic of it it isnt the air mixture screw it is just above the idle screw but it is just a plug screw sorta i cant seem to figure what it is it isnt spring tensioned maby it is just a plug

Just looked at my breakdown diagram of the Mikuni VM 22 used on these 225's. I believe you are referring to a plug that is located just slightly above and left of your idle screw. That is not a jet screw. It must be some kind of plug as you thought. All other jets are internal and not adjustable. (unless your re-jetting or adjusting the jet needle) Hope this helps.
