well I have been looking into having my 500r pipe repaired and i decided to do it myself. I have a new pipe coming so what do i have to lose.
here is what it looked like originally

i took a plug that would fit inside the inlet to the pipe. I then put a vise grip on to make sure it could not fly out. I then took a 1 3/4" pipe and welded a air hose fitting to it. i took a car radiator hose and connected it to the outleat of the pipe and the other end to my air fitting. I then bled the air tank down to 50 psi. i connected the air hose and SLOWLY opened the air valve to pressurize the pipe.
MAKE SURE THE PLUG IS NOT AIMED AT YOU
then i just heated the dents cherry red from the outside in.
use this at your own risk
be careful and were all safety gear as melted steel will hurt / blind you if you have a blow out.
