I have a 85 200X. Bored 1mm over. Head shaved .020", Ported head, DG head pipe, Cobra muffler, Uni aif filter(stock air box), Web cam(mid range) , XR200 26mm carb (122 main/40 pilot).
I was wondering, In all gears except 5th, revs to rev limiter. Used to in 5th(so I thought). It was lean on top end, cutting out, thought it was rev'd out.
I just rejetted. Had 120 main 38 pilot. Pilot screw was 3 turns out. So i went up 1 size on pilot. Now pilot screw out 1 1/2 turns. Runs all the way out 3rd Brownish plug. I know pilot doesn't have any effect on top end. Just added ALL things that has been done.
I want more top end. Is there ANY hope? I want to change front sprocket. But how much will I lose on bottom? I guess that is my question...After I had wasted all this time...
It has Stock style tires 22x11x8 on rear.
