I'm finally a member!

Called a guy about one on craigslist for 400 bucks. Turns out that one sold but he said he had another that needed put back together but everything was there. Said he wanted $150 for it. When I get there I find it's pretty much completely assembled with no fenders on it. He had the fenders in the shed boxed up. Much to my shock, he goes to the shed and comes back with a box with two BRAND NEW Maier fenders still in the packaging. :headbang:

He said it starts up but I didn't bother with trying. I just wanted to get it in the truck and get it home. Put some gas in it, turn on the petcock and it leaks like crazy. Had to push start it but it does start and run a little. Needs some carb work and that leak fixed. Doesn't sound like it's getting enough gas.

The exhaust pipe looks like it was made from old water pipes with some honda muffler welded on. The head around the exhaust port is messed up but overall it's in great shape for 150 bucks. Everything seems to be straight. No dents in the tank. I'm happy!

FREAKIN SCORE!!!!!.......I see an El DinkiDiablo in the future.....whats the game plan on resto ..............or are you just mobbing it as she sits?

It doesn't sound terrible actually. I was surprised.

I think eventually it is going to look like a mini-me to the R. Black, white and red flame job on the tank. Custom decals. Nice rims and tires. For now I just want to get it running though. Tryingt o figure out how I can fit it into the truck with the R in there too. Might be able to stand it up on the tailgate but that would be a little nerve wracking.

try putting the R in first backwards and the 70 should fit in frontwards to the side of the R's front tire.
you will have cool looking pair when your done with the 70:thumbsup:

Only problem with that is I don't know how I could get the R in their backwards by myself. No problem at the dunes because there's always someone around to help but at home there's no help. I can ride the R up in there with a ramp and try to get it turned around I guess but there's not much room to move around in a S10.

I've seen people do that before. Might try it. Doesn't look all that secure though. No doubt easier than turning the trike around in the bed of the truck. :chuckle:

I need a trailer really badly. If I had a place to put one I'd be in the market right now. Maybe I can make a little 70 size trailer out of 2x4's and shopping cart wheels. :lmao:

I put a 70 and my 350X in my 84 S-10 no problem. Put the 70 in backwards first. Move it all the way to one side. Put the front tire on the wheel hump. Then put the full sized trike in forwards, with the front wheel next to the 70.

Here is putting two 70s and the 350X in the S-10.
