Anyone here ever swap out the points setup for cdi on a 110

I am having spark issues with my 110s.The 6 volt stators arent too plentiful and I would like 12 volt lights so I thought maybe a swap out would be good at this time.Anyone ever try this

yes but you will have 2 swap the cam also

Have you done the swap,what all did you change

yes i have and if i had to do it again i would just swap the whole head it would be faster now it looked like it wouldn't be that big of a deal but it was i would recomend the head change and you wont have to mess with the hi lo shifter

back from teh dead, how did you swap on teh later electronics down below? I couldnt swap it as the mounting from my 79 or 80 engine was completely different from my 83 engine.
