Here is a list of mods I did to my 350x over the winter. When it gets fired up next week, I will post how it changed the power.

393cc stroked to a 430cc 10:1 compression
midrange cam+racing springs+HF rockers
13/40 gearing
complete Cobra Jet exhaust
lightened flywheel
uni-filter

Wow!!!! 430cc stroker?! You're gonna have a blast keeping the front end down now, especially with that gearing. Should be a beast!!!! Where'd you get the big bore stroker kit? Powroll?

Yep its from powroll. The stroke+bigbore+cam is from powroll and the rockers+springs are from webcam. I hope I can keep the front end down. My weight should make it prety square.

I just got her fired up yesterday eve and wow, this thing has compression. Its very hard to kick, even with the decompression cable attached. My foot is so sore from kicking it. It was its first start and there wasnt any fuel getting to the carb. It fired though. I got it on camera. I will post it when it gets converted. The only thing this bike is missing is the midrange cam. I will throw that in after a few more weeks. It sure is zippy for not having the rings seated. When its complete and broken-in I will let you guys know how it turns out.

How are you actualy going to know how it runs? You have to race somone to have a base line before/after, Or dyno. So basicaly your saying "this sees alot faster than the last time i rode it 9 months ago." You have absoutly no way of knowing how much it help. Bring it out and lets RUN EM!!!. Lets see what it has compred to a stock X.

Put 15 miles on her today. I need to replace my valve cover and get a few replacement bolts. A few adjustments and she will be good to go.

I need to get her jetted on her main, then I can throw the mild cam in and button her up for good, with one more main jet check. Then a few more parts on the outside and she will hit Gorman/Pismo. The power of this bike right now is like a small litte hotrod. It has very little top end/midrange. The low end pulls very well. I got my rear brakes on and working today. A 200x rear caliper mounts to a 350x bracket perfectly with no mods needed. With the power it has now, it would easly climb anything I throw at it. Its very nice, but not complete. It needs a cam, thats all there is to it.

When you re-cam it, you're gonna have to start all over with the jetting again. Was any port work done to the head, or is it just a bigbore stroker with the stock cam and head? If the head's stock, the cam will help a little, but the head will be restricting the flow and won't allow the cam to perform as it should. I would look into having the head ported and a bigger carb if you haven't already. Especially with 430cc's. Anyway, good luck with it.

I have been thinking about getting some good port work done to my head, maybe next year. If I can find someone to port it for me for around $50, I would ship this sucker out, but I can not afford more then $50.:bash: The funds are getting low for this month. I need to pick up another bike next month.

Sounds pretty sweet, many years ago I had Curtis Sparks bore & stroked a crate 86' 350x motor for me, it was a one off 475 kit, along with a Sparks bored out stock carb, ported head, sparks cam, hardened rockers, big valves.
I installed it in a cherry 88'250r along with a supertrapp exhaust.
I know exacty what you mean by having a hard time kicking it over!
This thing was a monster!!!!!!!!!!!!!
