well kids, project X is gone. Stolen. poof! like a fart in the wind. someone has removed X from my posession. I had let a bud use it for a few days and someone broke into his garage and carried her off.
I'm so fu*king pissed right now I could sh!t out bowling balls. Of course it is not my bud's fault, and I keep telling him it's not his fault, but I know he still feels like hell. I would never have let him store it at his place if I was worried about him. He lives in a neighbor hood with some punk ass spoiled little brat kids though, and that is where my suspicions (sp?) lie. See what happens when you don't live in the country!? LOL Anyway all, it's gonna be a long time before I ride again. I'll check back in now and then to see what you are all up to. Ride safe.

Zick sorry to hear about that. Where about`s do you live?. Do you have any pictures of it?. The source page has a section for stolen trikes for people to keep a eye out for them. If you are interested i am sure dan could set you up in there to see if anyone can find your trike?.

Won't his (or yours for that matter) insurance cover it? I know it sucks, but at least you could get the money for it, then try and find another trike. I don't know if homeowners insurance would cover that or not...if you didn't have insurance in the trike itself. My rides run about $5.00 a month to fully insure.

Keep an eye out in that neighborhood, if they did steal it, they'll be dying to ride it soon. Then you can take them behind the ole woodshed for the ass whoopin they deserve!

Good luck man.

I'd take em for a ride!!! Tie one of their legs to the back of the X and give her all she's got till he's crying like a baby!!
Or you can take my other approach, which I like better, Kill Em!!

Dude that sucks so bad. Once I had a car stolen, and the police didn't do s@&t, so I hired a private investigator, was a valuable car, a 73 mustang convertable. Anyway, it was found about 250 miles away from where i lived. They were put in jail, and ordered to pay my legal fees.

I would look into insurance, a claim may piss ur buddy off, but thats what people pay insurance for. And trust me, if u dont take no crap, u will have bucks to buy a trike way better than what u had, and some bucks to do work on it.

If any of u don't have some kind of insurance, I would recomend looking into getting some. Add it on to your car insurance, it only raises ur rates a few bucks, and then ur set in case "u never know".

A couple of years ago, a 3 wheeeler, a Honda, was stolen from a friends yard during a burglary. State Farm was the homeowners insurer, they gave them a list of ATV's to go and get from Honda. They got a $6000.00 replacement. This is not BS, and we were talking about it just last week. I have never heared of anything like this, but I have no doubt about the truth of the matter. - best
