Problems with my 185/200x

I just got my 185 converted to a 200x back today. As of now it still has a 185 motor. But it has a 200x shifer and it is too short to down shift it i have to pull it up with my hand. But that isnt the major problems. thats just a need a 185 shifter. The smallest of the problems is when its in neural it idles really high and when i put it in first it does a wheelie. so what i do is never come out of 1st but like when its idling in 1st gear it doesnt idle high. and also it gets stuck in gear sometimes. Like when downshifting it will get stuck in gear and i have to upshift then down shift twice. or if that doesnt work kill the ignition and rock it back and worth then down shift it. How do i fix my problems.

if you adjust your idle most of that will go away. you do it by backing the screw on the leftside of the carb out, well there are a couple but its the one thats on the round slide area of the carb. the more you back it out the loweer the idle. give it a shot.

Also make sure your throttle cable isnt binding or pulled tight. You can adjust the cable at where it screws into the top of the carb.

Ok i fixed it. the throttle cable adjuster was all the way out so i put it back in then adjusted my idle and it is fine thanks for your help.
