We bought another bike yesterday, and i started it up and it is running too lean, the bike was originally 1500feet higher up then it's current location, do i just adjust the needle in the slider? or do i need to buy a jet kit?

i tried making it richer, and leaning it out, and it still sputters at higher rpms

prob. needs a good cleaning. and at that time check the jet size to see if it's still stock. Check the clip on the needle to see if it is in one of the center grooves.
top groove lean. bottom rich.
