Did you take the 2 screws out?

My suggestion is:

Go to www.helminc.com and buy the factory honda manual for your machine. Then go to the MC shop and buy the aftermarket manual for your machine.

The money you spend on manuals will give you the greatest benifit of all money spent.

Hey Honda, I'm doing a rebuild on my 185 motor right now. I spent last night disassembling the the two motors I have. You are correct, the centrifical clutch does have to come off as well as the outer case. You will need a 30mm deep well socket and an air impact to get the centrifical clutch off. The threads are reversed. You also have to pull the manual clutch off because the two clutches come off together due to the gear meshing so pull the 4 10mm bolts off of the manual clutch. This will expose the clutch hub nut which is a special nut so you will need to get a clutch hub nut tool. There are 2 8mm bolts that hold the oil pump cover on and then there are 2 #3 phillips screws on the back oil pump housing. You'll need and impact driver to get the screws out. Go to this site and download the manual for the 84-86 200S. The transmissions are the same.

Go to this Ebay store for the clutch hub nut tool

See the photos I uploaded. Once you get the oil pump out and download the manual, inspect it per the manual. If any part of the inspection fails, you'll need a replacement pump.

You'll probably need a gasket set as well. You'll need the case gasket for the outer case and the 2 O rings that are under the oil pump as well as an O ring on the shaft of the centrifical clutch.
