1986 200x rear caliper

I have a 1986 200x the rear caliper is shot so is there any other calipers I can use beside the 1986-87 caliper( like from dirt bikes or early year 200x's.

most calipers works, most honda single piston rear calipers, most yamaha single piston rear calipers, you need the mounting brackets from yours to work. Alot of people use yamaha warrior/banshee/raptor calipers will good success.

I think that it is the same caliper at a 350X

They used the 83/85 200x rear caliper on the 85/86 350x so I would think the 86/87 200x would have the same setup.

On ebay you can get a brand new one that also fits on like a newer 400ex honda is the same caliper.

I think the rear caliper is somewhat different on the 350X from the 83-85 200x. The caliper has the honda code, HA5, for the 350X on it. The junker 87 200x I have has a HA5 rear caliper on it.

The only change was the parking brake cable holder. 83/85 200x is down 85/86 350x is up. and the 86/87 200x is prob. up too because of the carrier.

Thanks for all the replys, now I have to find a good rear caliper I guess I'll be watching ebay for the next few days.
