Just inherited a Tri-Zinger...but I have no manual.
For starters, I have no idea what cc's it is. Everything was intact, but I'll bet the carb is gummed-up...
Does anyone have a link to an online manual (or a pdf file?) they will share?
Any/All help appreciated TONS! Thanks.

I have a clymers book for most early Yamaha's. I'll check to see if I have anything in it for the zinger

Hi Stan! If Clymers covers it...I'll be in good shape...Please do let me know what you find...Thanks!
On another note...perhaps the manual will cover it, but is there some ID that'll tell me this has a 60cc motor?

most manufacturers put the id number somewhere near or on the steering head. you can take that number to your yamaha dealer and they should be able to decode it for you.
if you have any pics post them and maybe we can help you identify it.
if it's been sitting you definitely need to drain the tank and disassemble the carb to completely flush it out. good luck!

Thanks 250sx...I'll look for those nos. next chance. I'm ~125 miles away from it. It struck me as a fairly small cylinder...perhaps 40-60cc.
Is there a Clymer or similar manual with a Tri-Z section? I don't need to do more than clean up the carb, etc., but I'm inclined to screw it up without some decent diagrams. It would save me a LOT of time, so any help is appreciated.

I am assuming it is called a YT60? that is the smallest size trike listed in my haynes book. if it is let me know and I'll get you any info on it if you want.
Also Most engines have the CC's stamped on the cylinder, mine does and most others to, I think the tri-zinger is a 60 cc.

I appreciate your checking that for me. As I wrote, it looks small, so I'm inclined to think it's the smallest cylinder. It would be too much to ask for scans of the carb section as well as identification of the controls. I'd like to get this operational for a nephew. I can swing the cost of the manual. I'll check out the Haynes one for Yamaha.
Thanks again for verifying that for me.

Any thing else that I should scan from my book? It covers most all Yamaha's thru 85.
