i think it is more of a clack. i dont like the eeeek sound i had that befor i threw a connecting rod bearing no fun at all. i was almost wondering if my timing may be just a hair off? theat could cause pre ignition or lat ignition right? and that would sound funny

valves click clack, some time clickclick. wrist pin tick tick. timing chain clack clack with a nother sound kind of a high speed wering an rubbing like noise. pistons clack cluck. timing out pings and or nocks.

the piston noise if you put 10 over rings on a stander piston the skirt starts hitng the cylimder wall do to play.

Ps. go to the parts store get a sound stethiscope . it looks like a doctors with a anel prob on the end. lol . best why to discribe it.
