You might be able to remove the paint with steel wool or a very light sand paper. There are a number of chemical paint removers on the market. But i dont know if they will hurt your plastic or not. So you might just want to wet sand the paint off of them.

Your best bet is to wet sand the paint off. Go to Harbor Freight tolls, and buy a buffing wheel to put on your electric drill, get the plastic buff compound. When all the paint is removed from the plastic, buff it to a nice shine with your "buffer". I will look like new!!

even better brake fluid lifits it off like magic but be careful when using it and always wear chemical proof gloves and safety eyewear-both can be found at the hardware store:thumbsup:

T.G. that is a great idea!!!!! i dont need to remove any paint but brake fliud has removed some that i wanted to keep:rolleyes: and it wont hurt plastic.
DAN PUT THIS IN THE TECH ARTICLES:headbang:
Ya that does work.
First put the plastic on the hood of your mother & farthers car , Dush it down with brake fluid put the plastic in a safe place and wate. When you hear some screeming that sounds like "look at my f an car you know the plastic is ready for cleaning.:lmao:
Kids don't try this at home . Go next door.

How long should you let the brake fluid sit on there? it doesn't dull the plastic?
Thanks, Howard

until the paint has started to lift or bubble then scrape all the paint then wash the brake fluid off with loats of carwash and warm water.
