this weekend i started stripping the super red for a full restoration/rebuild! the first thing when i have stripped it all will be to sandblast the frame and repair it (with the new compressor and air tool/accessory kit i am getting for my birthday) and repaint it then i will get onto the rear axle/ tyres and wheels/final gear and put it all back togther and do the forks and stuff so i got a rolling chassie then do the rest so i got a 2nd good trike! Ha!!:headbang: :) ;) :p
oh and i am going to get those stickers on the fenders scanned in so i can touch them up and then get them printed professionally

Boy that bugs me. I know i had seen one some where that said super red on it. I just cant remember where. I think it was some one from the old message board that was also from Ausi. Maybe it was the one you bought  LOL.

T.G.
you PM box was full but here is your reply..
that paint sounds fine. the biggest deal is the prep work. myself i would be careful restoring that super red. it is original, rare and worth more money that way. i have aluminum rims on my trike so i did not have to paint them. what ever you do good luck!!

yeah basket i aggree the only reason thati am painting the rims is that on both the 83 and the 84 they are all scracthed and rusted wich looks like crap on a restored trike:thumbsup:
