Best Rebuild For The $

Hey people im looking to do a rebuild on my 250R before dune season gets started. I just want to know some popular combos. I need to know some things like how much to shave the head, or just buy a new one? What size motor 250,310,330? What pipe to use? Reed cage? Carb? I have about a grand to spend and want to put it to really good use. Any help you can give would be great Thanks

Get a hold of these guys and get a stage 2 cylinder port and head mod. From there, a bigger carb and upgraded exhaust, and you should be able to get your money's worth.

I would go with a company known for Building the 250r engines. Such as ESR, Duncan racing (pualturner), Ct, theres several more but thoes are the BIG ones. Id stick to one of them because you know your going to get what you pay for.

Hi, I would search these forums, useing keywords you used already we have a nice search feature. Also there is nice websight I enjoy as well call Macdizzy. I believe it uses the same name with .com on the end..
You will find most builds are done mostly to rider preferences, Dont be afraid to ask questions if you find something that may suit you as well...
Please whatever you decide keep us posted (with picts, we like picts) on what you end up doing...
