well here the pics...the frame is cut and bend but thats not enough ..so a new frame is gonan be welded up starting from the steering stem...well the "belly" of the beast...i noticed that the pivot bolt is the rear engine mount so i have to customize the swingarm to make the engine sit right :bash: ..overall thppugh it lines up pretty damn well :headbang: ....and the last pic is the concept of what it will look like when near completion!:fire: :eek:

hey stinger,,,,, the carb angle won't fly!!! and it is going to get worse when you lift the rear back up,,, before you get to far you better address it,,,,,,,,,

but after looking at it fora whyle...i noticed i had the damn boot installed upside down lol :doh: ...and when a front wheel goes on there i think it will be alright anyway.....uum if u knew me..that 200 motor was blown twice in 3 months...i ride my stuff hard....and i got sick of it and got my hands on a tecate motor..oh yea the trike was all apart anyway cause im in the process of changin swingarm and pivot bearings.....u know what id really love...a custom bent aluminum 200x frame :headbang: ...can someone loan me $10000? anyone?.....ill keep u guy updated the best i can....its gonna be kinda hard because i pretty much am just working out the concept andfiguring how everything is gonna go..but the x is going to my budys shop..where he will do the frame and swingarm mods..:p ...im still lookin for elctronics...anyone?:lala: well when im done i wanna drag the 500r! lol...kasey u still go that thing?...oh yea what was the original carb on a tecate..a khine (spelling) or mikuni..because the one i have seems a little big....i mean the slide on that thing is bigger than my whole 200x carb :lmao: :lmao: ...

yeah the engine should be level, not just thrown in and bolted down. If I were doing it I would make a stand to put the frame on so it would be off the ground and easier to work on. Also you should get a bunch of pictures of how a tecate engine sits in a tecate to mimic that angle.

thanx merriman..i dunno why i dint think of that...i was looking at pics of the tecate that engine was out of to see how the swingarm was mounted (rear engine mount) :bash: ....and i never even bothered to look at the angle of the motor :doh: well thanx :thumbsup:

the bike is mine..its a 1979 kawasaki kz 650..it pretty much mint and all original..accept the coils every ****ing lightbulb and the seat i modded so its not too tall for me to handle..heheh duct tape...:doh: ...well yea it needs a new voltage regulator...blew every damn bulb and the coils lil whyle ago....its pretty nice bike ...it seems to have an almost 2 strokish powerband and it really hauls for something that old....ill be getting an 83 gpz 550 and getting rid of it soon ...hopefully...its just to heavy for me ...:booty:

hey cool, I have a 1977 and 1978 Kawasaki 650s. They're just parts bikes, but I ride the 1978 around every once in awhile. It's loud as hell because it's got no baffle left in the pipe. I bought them cheap hoping to put the 650cc DOHC motor into the 1984 Tecate frame I have. Heheh. Here banshee banshee banshee!

that was the fate of that bike about 4 months ago lol..but i never got around to it..and now i decided im gonan sell it sooner or later and buy my friends gpz....that thing is FAST...:lala: ....oh tecate i missed ur post...if u can get me some pics that wld be real cool....and get soem of how the rear enigne mount is atteached...and the swingarm and just engine mounts in general...

hey stingray, you better think about gettin a tecate swingarm and modding the 200x frame instead of modding the swingarm... seems like it would be alot easier if you ask me!
