Hey Can you post a Picture of the recoil side of the motor.
If I'm right, their are two 8mm headed screws, One on top and one on bottem of the Sproket gard (which should be to the right, looking at the recoil starter) Remove those bolts, take the gard off the trike. Then there are three screws on the sproket (I think they have a 7/16" head, but don't hold me to that, not shure) Remove those three screws. There will be a triangle shaped piece on the shaft, turn that piece till the splines on the output shaft and the groves in the triangle shaped piece line up, then pull it off the shaft (this should be easy to pull, if its hard, its not lined up with the shaft.) After this piece is off, the sproket should pull off very easy. then everything goes back together in the oppisite way you took it apart.
If you need pics on how to do this, just PM me, and I'll send them to you.
Good Luck:thumbsup:

O.k. Just found out why my camera wasn't working (cameras don't work with dead batteries:doh:   )
Anyway here are the steps (with photos) that you want to take when changing a sproket.
1. Take the two bolts off that hold on the sproket guard, then remove the sproket guard.

2. Remove the three bolts that hold on the Trianglar piece then turn the trianglar piece clockwise (or Counterclockwise) to aline the spines, then remove that piece.

Then simply pull the sproket off and place the chain on the shaft.

The reason you lay the chain on the shaft is because you don't want the chain to come off the rear sproket. If it does, its not hard to fix, but takes some time. So laying the chain on the shaft helps it not to come off the sproket.
Hope this helps you out :D Good Luck:D

Hello again:D Check you PM's before you read this Honda4Ever, because if you don't, it won't make any sence.
O.k. with that said hear are the secmatics on you trike
The first one with the Hi-Lo range box.
12309
The second one with the sprocket.
12308
What I need to know now is:
A: Is the Hi Lo gear box on the same side as the Sprocket (or chain guard) or are they on oppisite sides.
B: Can you post a pic of both the Hi Lo range box, and the Chain guard (Going tards the motor, or on the motor)
If you can do this, I can show you (with the pics.) how to change the sprocket on you Trike.
Hope this helps
