200x top end

i just got a 185s and i have had a 200x which has needed a new topend for some time now. dose any one think its a bad idea to put a head cover with a compresion release on it, or would that auctaly an advantage?? my plans are to put the 185s head and the cover on the 200x. any suggestions?

It should work ok. 200 s and m has same set up. The head is the same. Just different cover and cam.

what is the diffrence in the cams? lobe size or something?

Lobe size,duration. A simple hop up for a 200x is a XR200 cam.It has a different profile also.
My 200x has a Webcam in it. I was thinking of a Megacylce to put in it. Not sure if it was worth the extra $$$.

will i be able to notice a decrease in power w/the 185s cam in it, or a decrease in any thing?


if u do get a new cam give me a holler in case u would like to sell ur web cam.. how much dose a new one cost?

Now I have heard though I could be wrong to put the 185 cam was an increase not a decrease... Whether its true or not I have no clue because I have not looked into it. The thing I want to note is to put the decompression on you need to match the rocker. You will want the flip top decompression release.. Remember the some have the line that go into the side cover.. You cannot use that one on the 200x.

this one just has the metal shaft conneced to a lever, which is the peice on the out side of the cover
