86 200x running lean

I rebuilt the whole motor and my exhaust pipe gets RED HOT...Glows RED at night...I have Weisco 10:25 piston in it...Not much of a boost but the bike idles sort of but it will turn off..what is wrong with it..Their is no air leaks...Has new seals on the carb intake..Anythng else...I have an after market exhaust..The exhaust looks like the headpipe is thin but I know its running lean...Any help...Carb came off running 86 and it is clean inside.Jets are clean and not plugged...

Sounds like a jetting problem. What does a plug chop look like??

On that trike, all it takes is for the pipe to be changed and it will run lean. Put bigger jets in it (after looking at a white plug, of course).

Where can I get bigger Jets? What size Should I get?
