idle screw problems???????

which way do you turn the idle screw on my 350x? i turn this thing both ways quit a bit and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. can you just adjust the cable at the throttle to achieve the idle you want?

Yep, sounds like you need to unscrew you adjustment alittle bit on top of your carb. That should fix it.

Yep hes right on the cable. Turn your screw clockwise to increase your idle.

geaux350x its not clockwise, but counterclockwise. Just like a bolt. Loosing it will raise idle, Tighting it will lower Idle.

sorry this is not the right way to do iit,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
those adjusters on the cable are to get some slack AFTER you adjust the idle with the idle screw screw it in till it raises the idle ,, if you screw it in and nothing happens there is something wrong in the carb,,,,
