atc 70 troubles!!!!!!!!!!

well i cleaned my tank out as well as the carb, still cant get it to fire off. the 3 wires that come out of the crank case on the left side, where does the black one go? i think its hooked to the switch right now. i have a black wire that i dont where it goes, and it comes out of the set of 3 wires which come out of a bundle above the 3 that come out of the crankcase.........any ideas?

Mine has the same wire and its never been connected as long as Ive owned the trike. Someone told me it was for a headlight option but hell I dont know.

What year 70? The three wires from the stator? I think green is a hot source (for light), black is to the coil, and the Lt green/red is a neutral. Might want to get a manual. Heres where you can download one. Good 70 info. http://www.glamisdunes.com/invision/index.php?showforum=50
