what do I need to do as far as fuel to winterize my 250R?
I know on a boat motor you "fog" the cylinder to prevent corosion and clean out the fuel system. but what do you do for a 3 wheeler?

my concern is it will sit for months and varnish the carb and I will have a big repair bill in the spring.

There are months when it is just too dang cold to ride (-20 degrees actual with a wind chill of -65 ) so It will be sitting some this winter.

thanks in advance

every couple weeks let it run 5-10 min , than take it for a quick spin ... and park it

All I do is drain the carb and bring the engine up to compression strock to close off the ports. In the spring pour some form of clearer down the gas line to fill the carb. let set for a while. drain and you should be good to go.
the oil in the fuel, in the tank will help stablize the gas over the winter.
Just add fresh gas of a little higher octain. if full a little octain booster.
