Worked out a deal over the phone to trade a guy my 84 ATC70 for a 1987 Suzuki LT80 I found on Craigslist. Drove two hours and the LT80 wasn't as nice as he led me to believe, so I couldn't do it. Of course I bought it anyway though, just came home with both of them. Turns out it is a 1988.. 36 years old and my first four wheeler purchase.

That 70 looks real clean it would be hard to get rid of. I have a '99 LT 80 in worse shape than that one, my fenders are almost white they are faded so bad from yellow. How does the 80 run? They do have quite a bit of power, hard to wheelie too, they get to a point and go over backwards fast.

I only rode the LT80 for a couple minutes, it had been sitting awhile, battery was dead, but it started right up. I ripped around his yard a couple of times but it was very dark and the throttle kept sticking, so I figured it was worth $400 and quit. Seemed strong though. I never even started it when I got home, it had a few issues so I just took it apart and got started. I have a lot of parts on the way. Should be very cool when done! My first 2 stroke, my first CVT drive, and my first non-Honda, so I'm learning as I go.

As far as the 70.. My daughter finally tried it and loves it, so I guess it's hers now.
