most of the mods are in my sig. right now i have a DG pipe (POS) and a stock silencer  i built this trike from spare parts and that is all i had laying around. i dont really run wide open but that seems to be what i built this ride for. what do i need to haul some azz and still have some decent low range for the trails?

The DG isnt a good pipe to you?

I know DG's for 4 strokes are Sh1t but I was under the impression that teh 2 strokers liek them.

I like paul turner items.

The Hi-rev pipe and the fatboy silencer is a good combo

Here are the pipes I have tried. FMF on stock cylinder. Didn't like it. Lost way too much torque and not that great of gains to the mid/top. Paul Turner HI-REV on stock and ported Pro-X 310 cylinder. This is the top end monster on the ported cylinder. Still great low end torque but do loose some. When it hits the mid rpms, hold on! Great pipe but didn't suit my riding style. Paul Turner Type 6 on stock and ported Pro X 310. Not the low end pipe as advertised. Less than stock pipe but more top end. Did not like this pipe. Still a very smooth pipe. Am currently using the CT midrange and love it. Fits my style. Barks immediatley off idle even more than stock pipe. On stock cylinder is a little flat on top but with ported Pro X has just as much low end, mid, and rips on top.

I run the Paul Turner Hi-rev pipe and Fat Boy silencer. My bike has a mild port job and some head work. This seems to work best for where I ride(Glamis), and I can pull piped Banshees up the hills.

Thanks for the welcome, bro. I broke my collarbone in Glamis 10 days ago, so I won't be riding until Thanksgiving. I am going in a week and a half, but will just be cruisin' the truck around. Thank God there is a lot of entertainment there to keep me busy.

I agree with "Ride red and on three" I too run the hi-rev only with an FMF power core II silencer and the thing is awesome. I think they are the best, plus I'll say it again Paul turner / Duncan racing where the ones that made the race pipes for the factory bikes back then. Can't beat it. Hey RIDE RED.....when are you going to glamis? I'll be there the weekend of the 8-10 of NOV, I'll be in gordon's on the 1-3 of NOV, and in buttercup on the 25-27 of OCT. See you all out there..............I will bring plenty of pictures. :headbang: :headbang:

The 1st-3rd I will be at Glamis on Gecko. After that, I don't know, depends on the healing process.
