I need help identify which swingarms are which. How do I figure out which year is what on the swingarms...Is there distinguishable marks? These came from either 85/86 250r and above....

anybody else?? i am sure someone knows exactly all the differences..
Stealthduner would know. He said he switched his 85 over to an 86 swingarm
It must be the diameter or length of the carrier. But I don't have a 86 to measure.

I believe the they are the same. I've got both types of swingarms trx and an r, I'll double check to make sure this evening. :D

If I know where to measure Or what is different (if anything) Then I can label em for Ted. He is getting both of em and I am under the impression we must stick with the proper brake and carrier setup, But it has been so long that I have looked into this...

That threaded stud is the giveaway that it is a 1985 style ATC swinger.

So they are both 85???????
By the way dunno if this means anything but there are 2 distinct # set on one of the side where the shock are is... C25 and C73
