Drove 3 hours to get a :hail: atc70 on the nice snow covered roads should of been 2 hours but traffic was really slow. I got 2 motors with it the 70 motor witch i think is an 84 and a 110 motor not sure of the year. I got a great deal on the stuff i don't have any pictures yet but when it turns daylight i will take some and post them. I just wanted to see how hard it would be to put the 110 motor in the 70. I read somewhere about intake problems or something. just wanted to see if anyone could point me in the right direction as to what don't bolt up/fit.
Thanks
Mike

You got me thinking about the 110 swap into a 70. After looking at the intake manifold of a 110, I see how it could be a problem on a 70. It needs much more space than we have between the frame and the top of the motor.
Anyone know of the right intake/carb to use to make this happen? I know of a 110 nearby I could get and give this a try.
Also, is there a good info source for the 110? I'm pretty familiar with all the 70 sites but not any of the others. Does someone make a big bore kit or inexpensive cylinder kit for them?

The 110 swap into the 70 is not just a bolt in. Holes have to be redrilled, you need to alter the intake or some people dent in the bottom of their frames and tanks. Also you need to fab the front engine mount. If you just go with the lifan engine, no frame mods, all new engine and you can get up to 150cc.

making a motor mount would not be any problem. i heard the intake will not fit so i plan on cutting it down and welding it back together.
My questions are
What holes need to be drilled? (never heard about that before but still no problem)
what way should i have the intake facing when i weld it back together?
What exhaust should i use?
anymore info on this?
