if i put a xr200r cam, piston, valesprings, and intake-carb on my 200x how long would the engine last? would i be rebuilding it every few weeks?

Just use the whole top end except the compression release lid... Use the stock 200x lid... Or the flip top compression release along with its cam from the pullstart 200 (which helps the kicker issue)
No I do not believe you will be rebuilding it,,,, HOWEVER the kicker will become an issue if you dont somehow put the decompression release on it. but that is my opinion...

Get the correct intake for proper mounting... Dont remember which one but its posted somewhere on the board plus I am sure someone will be along shortly and say...

I dont know if you got this answered or not, but yes you can use an entire xr200 engine.. the downside is the reverse kicker, but there is away around that as well... You can swap the internal kicker to the 200x system again you loose the decompression so a flip top lever would best suit here but you would need the 200x side cover and the 200x kicker parts..
