View Full Version : fork seals
Hi eveyone. I am having a hard time removing the front fork seals off of my 85 250r. I'm having trouble taking out the old seal, I've taken the dust cap and the big o-ring out, but I just can't take the oil seal out. Can someone give me some ideas on this.
Thanks

After you get the snap ring out, just pull down on the fork repeatedly like a slide hammer and the seal will come right out.

Use a small air impacter. When Jenn had this problem, and the allen bolt just turned, she put a bunch of air pressure in the shock, and blew the seal out
