amphibian Question

Does anybody know who used to make the small six wheel amphibian
all I can think of is JLO and that seems to be wrong
would really like to find a rebuildible one...dont know why just do.

argo made one. my dad had one of the 1st year models with the 40hp engine (later ones had a lousy 16hp engine) and that sucker would go anywhere. however it did have a pretty complicated chain-driven gearbox & was prone to throw a chain or 3 at least once a trip.

I wouldn't mind finding one myself. They'll go anywhere.

i've always liked argo's but i have never seen one in action before and have always got the impression that they have a really slow top speed, but i am probably wrong and they will end up going 50mph:shrug:
