20 inch rear tires on a ''flat track'' 90?
Vealmonkey
02-05-2008, 04:26 AM
I believe the whole flat track theme is out the window by now. It's just a lightly modded 90. It's nice and clean though. I was really hoping for the flat track look. And those forks are looking a little bent in at the bottom.
SWIGIN
02-05-2008, 12:33 PM
i had a homemade flat track 90 once.... wide and low (shortened forks) and 18''tires
thats why i keep asking him for the flat track pics...lol
Ya I have had a change of mind threw this project.Money was one of the main things.Still this atc 90 is getting alot of nice stuff done to it and it should be pretty sweet when done.
I trying to stay with old ang blend of new at the same time.I really like the fact that it doesn't have any suspension.I think that is one of the cool factors of the trike. It's going up Mount Washington in July.
Tires and rims are coming in Thurday.(1) 22X11x8 front Kenda (2) Kenda XC 20x11x8 (3) Douglas 3/100 8x8 3.0 5.0 offeset.

Yo egoggy...
For some reason, the pics aren't working for me.... however. Sounds like you are doing a pretty good job! "Someday" I want to build an old 90 project. I have a pretty complete original 1970 US90 w original tires, so I don't want to mess with that. But have picked up an aftermarket frame, and an aftermarket rear end assembly/brake housing, an extra motor, and an exrtra set of rear fenders, and a couple extra front balloon tires, so got most of the parts to do one "someday"

I was going with that header wrap for more of a perf gain, and to keep the heat from warming up the gas in the tank.I also would like to keep my leg safe as well.

The wheel spacers give me just the right amount of clearance. The more I ride it the more I am impressed with it. The motor fires right up on first kick every time.

18882Here is the finished product. Seat is a little redneck (it was the best I could do with what I had) but I will address that later on. At least I can ride it now. This thing is fun. Tank is a little off color but it does not bother me. I think I may put a 200X brake on the front?
This thing is fast...............

Thanks. This bike hauls a**. It is like riding a 2 stroke it is so peppy. I love riding it. It runs strong and has plently of power for the type of riding I like to do. I raced my nephews Warrior 350 yesterday and blew him away. His bike is a piece of crap though...
