I just joined and recently bought a couple of Honda 3 wheelers. One is a 83 Big Red 200E and I'm not sure of the other one is. Here is the VIN: JH3TB0500CC149602. Could someone at least tell me what year it is. Its missing the spark plug and I'm not sure which one I need. If you can decode any other info from the vin that would help as well or know of a web site where I can decode it.
Thanks,
Bryan

the 200e you have is a 1982, and the spark plug ngk dr8es-l will be the correct one for this 200e, I hope this helps you out.

It is the 10th letter in the code that gives the designated year... the 9th digit designates some math computations for stolen frame IDS,,, the first 5 designate its model and the last 6 designate which one it was in the production series... One of them cannot remember which one designates which factory it came out of... (hopefully My memory is good) The VIN was set into law in 1980...
A=1980
b=1981 and so on...

Heck those VIN's can be confusing if you don't have the key.
