I like to turn rags into hot-rods, spending as little as possible. This 350x took about three months.

3 kids... 13,12, and 11
I live in Creswell, Oregon.
I started with the 350X, Purchased an 86 200X right after that. Didn't like it in the dunes, found out couldnt do much with it, so bought an R. Somewhere in there picked up too original 79 110's Sold one off to pay for the bill. Since that time I have dabbled in atc70's, 85 tecate, atc90's and my personal favorite the 85 200X.
We are currently back down to 3 they are listed below (you could say 4 or 5 but it will be some time before 4 and 5 are put back together)
Right now we are currently in the process of rebuilding the 1985 250R. (Black Widow)
350x was restored in 2005 details found here. http://www.3wheeler.org/vb/showthread.php?t=18020

The 79 110 was restored in 2003.. It was the first restore technically
Well this is a 84 200x trike I did finish, Make some one a nice ride.

My name is Dan Dale. I'm the founder of the site. I originally had a 185S three wheeler back in the day around '87-8. It stayed out at my dad's ranch in Texas. Whenever I'd go visit then I'd get on and ride it around all night long. :lala: Unfortunately, when my dad sold the place my stepmother gave it away. :upyours:
Back in '00 or so I got the urge to get back into riding. I wasn't looking for anything in particular 3 or 4-wheeled, but I ended up finding an '87 250SX that was for sale by the original owner. He had sold his farm and moved into town & just didn't have anywhere to put it. I quickly gave him a down payment and went to the Uhaul place to rent a trailer to haul it home. He had several other people try to buy it out from under me  but he kept his word and hung on to it until I got back. :hail:
From that starting point I quickly dove back into the hobby. I found my old stash of trike mags from back in the day and poured through them reliving old memories. There wasn't much in the way of trike websites back then. The message boards were all in antiquated formats that were just one long webpage instead of the modern version like we use today.
It was then I decided I needed to just start my own. That way I'd have a place to post scans of my magazines and put up a bulletin board in the format I wanted. Along the way I've turned into one of the biggest trike whores ever as you can see from the list of my current rides in my sig. :D
It didn't take long for 3wheeler.org to catch on. We've grown from 5-10 core members to the thousands we have today. With everyone's help, we'll keep that growth going for many years to come! :hail:

My name is Michael, and I'm fairly new to the trike experience, but that hasn't kept me from being considered an "addict". I purchased my first in 2005, an '83 250R, and didn't really get to ride it until 2006. I then found a beat up Tri-Z in late 2006, and did a full rebuild for the first time. In 2007 I picked up an '85 350X.
This site has been a pleasure to be a part of, I've met some really cool folks, and absorbed a wealth of knowledge from everyone!

Hello from your newest mod!
My name is Chip and I've been riding on 2 motorized wheels since I was 11 years old. We started on a Honda mini-trail 50 then moved up to an SL70, XR75, Sack-o-dooky RM100 :chuckle:,a CR125, and, finally, street bikes. I rode a Big Red a couple of times in the late 80's, but never truly caught the trike fever until about 7 years ago. That's when I rescued my '87 SX from the proverbial "forever hole" in a storage shed at a buddy's plumbing business. I found this site about a week later and immediately signed up. Since then I've been hooked and the stable has grown accordingly. While I don't have the crazy build skillz that these other mods have, I still love to ride and I look forward to helping out here in any way that I can! :headbang:
Heres a shot of me at the MS ride last March and the bigger version of my avatar:
