The guy I bought my 86 250r from brought me a crank and rod today. He rebuilt the motor shortly before I bought from him and he replaced the crank and rod. It looks to be in not that bad of shape. No groves where the bearing go on the shaft. Rod has a little play side to side, but I don't know if it is to much, how do you tell?
The rod is a Hot Rods, how do you tell if it is a short or long one? The counter weights have some gouges in them, I guess when it blew something got into it. He said that is the reason he replaced it. But I don't know if they would be anything to worry about or not. Guess I'll just put it away for a spare. :)

your allwed a small amound like thousanths of an inch, bit if it feels loose it probley is. but a rod, bearing ,thrust pin and thrust washers arent that much is just having it put on!
