k guys im looking do up a suspended 70. i know that a+ frames are few and far in between, so does anyone know of anyone else that at least makes a kit? i basically want just the front suspension set up for now. triples and forks... the rear i will worry bout at a later time.
i was also wondering if you could use one of the pitbike frames. i know i would have to fab up and weld on mounts for the fenders and tank, but can they be used? they look so damn close to the a+ frames.
as for the rear end, i guess i am wondering what i will do for an axle carrier?
any ideas you all could give me would be greatly appreciated. i know theres some 70 gurus here, hopefully you all help me out. thanks in advanced.

pit bike frames would be a great place to start ,, i believe blue is doing one as we post,,, if you have the fab tools and skills i would start with a pitbike frame,, one off trikes are very difficult!!! look at the list of parts that had to be custom made in the thread for blues ,minitiger ,, its alot of work mating all the pieces together to come up with a final project like these,,,

I'm at the same place you are Scott. Like you, I've been studying pics of the pit bikes thinking the same thing. The only drag is blowing a bunch of cash on pitbike parts only to find out they just won't work. As Kasey mentioned, the pic of the mini tiger above as well as his trike are a hodge podge of parts. Unless you have the tools and skills for metal fabrication then it would be a futile effort. I'm picking up another 70 tomorrow. I have 1.5 other 70's in my shed so I have parts to mess with. I'll leave one stock for the kiddos to ride but I really want to do a modified one. If you come up with anything or have successes please post. I'll do the same.

The best would be to satrt with a pitbike frame as Kasey said. The one I am planning is at a financial stall at the moment but I have motivated him tonight to get some more parts, lol. Of course I might be building one for the Wife now, lol, and this one will be completely different then Mini Tiger since that was more "themed" to look close to a Tiger. This one will be more "Modern". Right now I have another members A+ here for some "customizing" (and yes I have been working on it), and when that is done I will start the pitbike conversion. I will always help as much as I can with info and measurement as some already know. Of course I listed all the mods to mine on the site.
Good Luck and keep us posted.
