WOW,, i got to ride the A+ 70 tonight, finally got most of the little things done ,, enough to take it for a peel down the street , i needed to run it a little to break in the motor,, wow its a kick,, quite a bit more power than
the other one for sure,,,, so now its teardown and finish time, this will be a theme bike,,, so i have a few goodies to fine that are theme specific   i'll post a pict before i tear it down,,

FlyingW

Clues, we need clues. Without clues it would be impossible to guess. How about the Pizza Hut delivery trike. Hot n Freshed at 50 mph. Do I win?

Hey Kasey, been meaning to ask, do any of your stock 70's have electric start? (Lifan engine)

Mr. Richard
02-07-2008, 10:52 PM
it is trike related,, :D

Mr. Richard
02-07-2008, 10:54 PM
not yet,,, i am thinking about doing one someday,,,

FlyingW
02-07-2008, 11:01 PM
That's where I'm at now. Tomorrow I'm going to begin the teardown of an 84 70 I bought for a C note. It's complete and runs but I wanna put a Lifan w/electric start on it but where to put the dredded battery? It's gonna be a theme bike as well. I didn't intend on that but I have a friend with a grandson and he'll get to ride it and he's really in to fire trucks soooooooo I'm gonna put a red flashing light on it with some custom decals. I've been putting off ordering the Lifan until I resolve the battery issue.

Mr. Richard
02-07-2008, 11:05 PM
man the battery issue is so simple ,,don't let it discourage you,,, i can get lotsa pictures and details ,, it goes inside the frame in the rear ,, VERY SIMPLE,,,,

FlyingW
02-07-2008, 11:36 PM
I was looking at that but wasn't sure if it would fit. That would be the best place for it.

ATCnut
02-07-2008, 11:38 PM
FlyingW

If I had to put a battery in a 84 70, I would fab a battery box that goes on the bottom skid plate, which would put the battery inside the frame in the rear. Getting it installed and hooked up might require some finess, but it would be out of the way.

just the way Kasey said

Thanks nutter. I'll investigate that tomorrow. I wanna see pics though. Got Pics?

You certianly like these minis don't you Kasey! We had a few of them at a local ride a few weeks back and they were the highlight of the weekend. Definitly a blast to ride thats for sure..

I wonder why honda didn't make a 2 stroke little buggy.. The zinger and alt50 are smokers arent they? :bs:

I'd like to have one with a cr80 motor in it. I bet that sucker would rip! :demon:

I think it's gonna resemble his 500. only a mini version?

WELL ITS A KICK START ,,, with an extended swinger the tire is not an issue,, i did a pullstart conversion on this one too,,,, didn't like it and i couldn't run the ignition i wanted either,,, it clears the fender with enough of a throw to start easy,, and folds up nicely
