I'm kicking around the idea of restoring an '86 or '87 KXT250 Tecate 3. I've owned one before, and it smoked my '85 ATC250R. It wasn't quite as fast as my Quadzilla, but damn quick none the less. I think I will use an engine out of a newer KX250. Have any of you ever done this or seen it done? I know I can make it work. I'll have to find out if the plastic is still available from Kawasaki. I'm sorry, but I will not waste money on Maier plastic. I would think about it if their stuff was injection molded. Does anyone here know if three wheeler front number plates are still being made? I want one like what was on the race bikes back in the eighties. I just want another fairly rare toy to show my :booty: to all the Banshee and Raptor guys out here on the dunes. TECATES AND QUADZILLAS RULE! :headbang:
