350x stock exhaust question

I have a DG exhaust on my 350x I realy love it and the sound .. but the neighbors dont , and I can predict the neighbors up at the cottage hating it even more LOL
ok so I had a fellow board member send me a stock exhaust it was repaired on the pipe as I did know but as I learn more it seems to be missing the end baffle .. will this pipe still quiet the bike down or will the mising baffle or end cap ( not sure what is mising) cause the pipe to be loud and not perform properly ?

yea .. I found a stock exhaust pic and this one does seem to be "open" , missing the end baffle as I suspected...I had an ad up for a stocker to keep the noise down .. damn I didnt mind payin for it but the shipping and duties killed me and now its basically useless .. to me anyways .. well guess I have anice spare header .. it came with it and is in good shape ..

It will be quieter than the DG, but it appears to be missing the spark arrester.
I'm sure someone on the board has an extra one.

As Rex stated its missing the baffle, core, spark arrester, whatever you wana call it. That does drop the noise down some more, but the stock like that will be much quiter than a dg.

I will hav etoo bolt it on then and try . read my other post .. i just drove near 4 hrs for nuthin to buy a roller .. was goingto use the stocker that was supposed to go with it ..

ok I bolted the thing on .. yea it is quiter than the dg .. but still VERY loud .. and its kinda bent also heats up and with the bends out of shape I am afraid to ride and melt my plastics .. I wil either have to heat it up and bend it in and still have to find a end baffle .. or does anyone have a stock pipe .. muffler in decent shape with baffle ,, I dont nead the had pipe I ahve a good one ...

You know ang I explained this to you in our PM's. apparently you don't believe me. Also I've not been keeping up with this thread.

For the remainder of the members reading the thread. I had no previous experience with 350Xs, didn't know it was missing the baffel. I offered the baffel out of my 350X to help you out because of this problem. I also haven't bought or have seen personally the roller that I mentioned in the pm. So I don't have an extra to send you.

Rather than have this drawn out like the the Chopper Kingpin, which personally I think is a blown way out of proportion, I'm going to refund in full your payment to me for the exhaust system which I sent to you along with the light assy. Keep the light assy. and the header pipe for the inconvenience.

As far as our transaction goes, it indeed was unfortunate, but you will be made more than whole. The only reply from you that I'd like is that you confirm in this thread that I have returned your payment in full.

Lol loud ur funny its a stock exhaust,

If i was purchasing or selling a stock exhaust i wouldnt expect it to have the baffle in it, i would say about 95% are taken out. that should be an extra if it was in there. Almost everyone takes it out.

Rick you are great .. But I never asked for a refund at all and YES I do beleive you did not know it was missing a baffle .. you sent me a pic of its condition .. so the bend is not your problem realy .. and like I told you in the email after i seen a refund in full .. I dont expect or a refund .. ok now I am kind of bummed that it was missing the baffle ( since the whole idea to quite the bike down ) and by looking at the end the two screw holes are missing and IF we were looking for a problem either one of us could guessed its missing something .. but please dont compere me to the thread where thos two guys were bickering over 25 bucks .. i never even asked for a dime .. only a baffle AFTER you said you may be able to send one .. anyways .. also please accept my apologies as I wouldnt have even mentioned it in a threrad but after coming back from a near 2 hr drive and back so near 4 hrs .. I was in a bad mood .. i realy got screwed by the guy in barrie when he called me 10 mins from his house cancleing our deal after we confirmed it through the week .. the day of .. and then when i left to leave for his house .. that is the guy that pissed me off NOT you .. so I am sending a good chunk of your money back to you ..the silencer is basiclly useless to me even after repairing a crack by having it welded .. BUT the headlight assembly is good and so is the header pipe .. unlike chopperking .. ( do not campare me to him this situation is totaly different ) I did NOT ask for a refund and do not want something for nuthing .. I repaet ionly asked that if you had a baffle could you send it and only becuase you mentioned you may be able to ,, I WAS planning on using the parts from the roller ( exhaust parts can even be seen in my other thread) .. i demanded nuthing man ,,, I like you and nevr tried to start any**** sorry if it seemed that way .. again please accept my apologie
you sent the parts even before payment and I requested your info while it was on theway .. and then sent your $ asap .. i think we are both guys people can trust .. neither of us needs a bad mention .. ok ..

Yes next time you look for a 350x muffler make sure you ask if it has the Silencer / spark arrestor ....

you want that part in their ....
