Yep. I was in my teens when ATCs were killed off. I always wanted one, but my parents never got me one. Then, about 10 years ago, I came across a 200x that was in great shape I could afford. I had many good times with that machine, and a few near-death experiences, before I was forced to sell it.
Many more years went by, and I rode other machines. 2 wheels, 4 wheels....fun but recently, I decided to start looking for another 200x. I did my searching on craiglist and ebay, and also decided I would add the 250r and 350x to my list of options.
Well, the tax return came, and I bid on a 350x and won. It's kinda ugly at the moment with a dented tank, sun damage, and a rear fender that looks like it layed on the freeway in rush hour, then was repaired with a box of zip-ties. It really didn't look that bad in the pics, but oh well. It seems to run damn good, and I don't think I will get bored with the power like I remember happening with the 200.
I look forward to having a good time here, and I already appreciate the tech section. It's answered quite a few questions already. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank whoever runs the place, and thank in advance whoever is going to answer my stupid questions when they come up.
See ya here, and on the trails in Cali.
Peace
