85 350X...flooding out after 10 min. idle??

HELP!my 85 350x will usually start in 2 to 3 kicks ONLY when it has sat in the garage for the night. It will idle for about 5 to 10 minutes then stall out only to find the carb filled to the point the fuels running out of the overflow. The carb has just been rebuilt so I don't think its the float valve. Anybody got advice for this stupid problem:wtf: m???:wtf:

Mine was doing that a while back. I took it apart again and cleaned it (again). Replaced the float and float valve with spares and not a problem since. Anytime fuel is coming out of the overflow, the float and/or the float valve is not doing its job. Clean the hole where the float valve goes. It either seeping past the valve just enough to fill the bowl up or the float is not applying enough pressure on the float valve to close it off completely.

Make sure the float doesn't have a hole or crack in it where it will fill up with gas internally and not float to the top and shut the flow of fuel off.
