I just picked up this baby last week for $1,600. It still has the original tires, with the nubs on the sides. It was ridden in the summer of '86 then parked until now. The only thing that is missing is the headlight which I have on order. Let me know your thoughts!!

Well, I have made a few changes to the bike..I got the headlight :D , new fenders front and rear, and all new graphics. I also am in the process of powder coating several pieces. If anyone needs anything powdercoated, let me know as I have just opened a new PC Shop :headbang:

hows it run? hope they drained that 86 gas. that can do wonders in a carb in some 14odd years. looks super though. good find!

Nice Bike....Are you trying to put the factory stickers back on there? That rear one looks new, but I think it is off an 85 250R. The rear sticker for the 86 is colored like the radiator shrouds, and front fender. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Yeah, actually the thing runs PERFECT. Still on the original bore, and even idles perfectly. I have a pretty trick 400ex, but riding this bad boy is just a plain thrill. Plus the looks you get from people seeing a 16 yo machine that is in this original condition puts a smile on my face.

As for the graphics, I ordered all the ones I could, but the '86 rear fender graphic was discontinued by Honda. I tried getting one from Cal-ATV but they don't have any either. Anyone know where I can get one????

Oops, I almost forgot..I added another trike to my growing Honda stable. I picked up a stock original 1985 250sx in pretty good shape for $200
