well I have a very nice DG .. but its just too loud .. looking for a repacement stocker .. ( I have a want ad up ) or any ideas to quite the bike down .. how about this will it work ?

DG has a supertrapp core you can use to replace the one thats in it now. then adjust the disc's to your liking.

I've seen a few guys put trx450R mufflers on thier 350X's (I beleive Sykolincoln did) Those are pretty cheap and available on ebay I am putting a White Bro's R4 slip on from a KFX400 on my 200X.

heres a crappy picture and its a little old,,, but i put a WR450 pipe on the daughters 350x,,, it has a spark aresstor and sounds pretty nice too,,, since its off a bike not a quad i think its smaller and alot lighter than a trx450 pipe

I put a trx450r muffler on my X and it works good. If you want it a little louder just take out the baffle. It was only $20 on e-bay brand new.

I have 2 trx450 exhaust laying around AND a exhaust off of a xr400 stocker. If anyone is intrested. Stelthduner i still want that exhust for my gf z400.

how did you guys connect it to the pipe ? have it welded on ? and braket made up ? anyone have a good pic ?

I'm sorry man, I love the way it looks/Sounds on my 200X. Plus it was already broken so i already have to weld it up different.

I used a piece of the 450R headpipe and had to heat it and bend it just a hair to make a midpipe for it to all work nice. The midpipe has clamps on both ends so it's sweet. I also cut off the existing 350X bracket and made a new on lower to secure the 450R mounting point. It all came out perfect and stock appearing.

The 450R is one heavy can, if you don't make another mount, I'm certain it will lead to something failing.....
