Has anyone bought one of the stainless steel bolt kits fastnerguy is selling for ATCs on Ebay? I was just wondering if all the bolts fit well etc. It seems like a fairly good deal.

yes. they work good. just dont toss your old hardware because all the nuts and bolts aren't in the kit.
My tri z kit did not include the bolts for both brake calipers. rear carrier, top triple clamps, and a few others I can't remember.
Alot of guys say to use the stock bolts for the suspension as well. or replace them with new gr. 8 bolts from your local hardware store. Its been said that the cheap stainless woun't hold up to the abuse.

i have to agree with the first guy not every bolt on the bike is in the kit, I got a kit for my 250sx and I was pretty happy with the majority of the kit. You couldn't buy it all at a hardware store for that price they are asking, and it also makes look a little nicer with shiny hardware too.

I got one for my 83 250R a while ago. I mostly used it on the engine, and the cosmetic stuff. I used the factory bolts in the suspension

I GOTTA say tho, the polished bolt kit on ebay is BOMB... so many quality bolts, nuts and washers.

Am I to assume that the majority of the bolts are hex head? That is the way it looks in the pic....

They all use a hex head. better get yourself a good set of metric allen wrenches.

I bought the kit and the fastners look OK but a bunch of them are the wrong size(6x40mm instead of 6x45mm).
I have sent him several messages with no response.
IMO don't waist your money with FASTNERGUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Buy from someone else. He does not stand behind his product!!!!!

That is something to consider, especially when stainless already has a tendency towards galling.

I had bought a bolt kit from the fastenerguy on ebay for an 86 250r rebuild. Time, money and other projects cut me short. It is a very nice looking kit and I need to get rid of it. Messege me if interested.
