But I figured its about time I introduce myself too.

My names Lou, from Maryland over on the east coast, yeah I'm a mud and woods triker but hey ride what yah got right? Wish I could get out to sand country to visit. Would be my dream vacation for sure!

Trying to think what to say. I've been riding since I was 13. My dad started me out on a 5hp briggs minibike and lets just say I road that thing until I was physically too big for it at the ripe age of 17. my uncle gave me my first dirt bike, my faithful 1973 Kawasaki KE100 which even though it doesn't get much seat time anymore I still keep safe to this day.

Well fate had destined me for 3 wheels and my uncle, the same who gave me the KE,
decided he was cleaning house and gave me my very first three wheeler. A yamaha
YT125. This poor tri-moto got beat to death and then was sold for $500. I wish I could say I wish I still had it but honestly I really don't. It really wasn't worth keeping, I would have put too much money in it to keep it.

I rode this 80 for a while after the tri-moto.
It seemed crazy fast compaired to the ke and the tri-moto.

I got the hankering for a project and look what I stumbled upon. This blue YTM was nothing but a bucket of parts and a roller when I got it but I put it back together, road it for about a year and sold it for $1000. I should have kept this one but hindsight is 20/20.

I ended up with 3 more tri-motos which ended up being peiced back together and trader for my baby, an 85 atc250r. i drove 3 hours in my s10 pickup, loaded down with all three tri-motos in the bed to pick this poor thing up. Brought it home scared myself todeath on it, and then proceeded to fix its many issues and ride it to death. This bike has been all over the place. Tumbled down many a hill climb gone bad, ran in MX, plonked through the woods and a million other untold miles. Its set tire in VA,FL,TN,PA,IN,OH,GA and probably a few more states I can't remember at this point. This one will be with me for a long time. Currently its got black plastic. It will one day receive an OEM restore that I'm collecting parts for. Thats when I'm old and broken though. For now its gonna get ridden.

Everyone wants a project, I've had a million, have a million still and will never finish this one. This is my version of a ATC500r. I'm not going into the whole build story but it started life as a CR and I continued to use the CR frame unlike so many other 500r builds. This is not a most recent picture as many changes have happend to it since this picture last year. Hopefully I'll have more pics up soon.

Finally i pickedup a 350x I use as a trail rider. Here I am on it looking a little lost in the Maryland woods near my parents.

Wow! Great story and great rides! That KE100 sure brings back memories - I had a friend in high school who had one and he rode that thing everywhere and in all seasons. Yours looks to be VERY well cared for...nice job! Again, welcome and keep us posted on your ongoing projects!!!

Are those 450r plastics on the cr500 trike? Now I like the idea of using the motorcycle frame and all for the conversion. Nice set of trikes and welcome to the board.
