I just bought a clutch kit for my 250r but I didnt know that it didnt come with the steel seperator plates. Where can I get these or do I even need to replace them? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Caleb

the only time you have to replace your steel plates if they are warped, lay them on a level surface and take a feeler guage and take measurements if you see daylight underneath each one of the plates. The service limit on the plates are 0.20 mm, if they are warped more than 0.20mm they need to be replaced. I hope this clears things up. If you need plates you can get them from honda or there is usually a couple people that sell them on ebay.

I've always replaced fiber and metal plates as a set.
you can reuse the metals but you'll have the check for;
warpage, (as described above)
glazing or discoloration, (combination of fiber material and oil left behind on plates)
and plate thickness. (your manuel has specs.)
