I just got back from Missouri where I picked it up. This was the one posted by squig_2000 a few days ago. :hail:
It's not perfect, but it's got potential. It smokes at startup, but quits after it warms up good.
One of the things I'll need are a rear brake caliper.

I'm also gonna need a chainguard or whatever it is that goes here.

It could use a seatcover. Anyone have a source for that "350x" cover?

The headlight lenses have also been replaced with some kind of clear cover.

Yeah, nice. Mine was about the same when I bought it except my rear fender was broken in the back left corner and where mine was missing the case saver it had a nice hole punched in the case.
So.... while I'm talking about case savers.... don't ride that bike hard (anything other than putting around) without a case saver!! The case saver bolts under the chain guard and goes in front of the sprocket to keep the chain away from the case in the event of the chain breaking or derailling. I think I have pictures of my case before and after I repaired it (I didn't screw it up, someone else did). I repaired the case (I won't mention what material I used) and I built a case saver with 1/4" mild steel rod formed to fit. I also made a chain guard out of sheet metal which is pretty smurfy too. I wish I had pics of that... I have no digital cam!!
I don't like the plastic tank. I had one on mine too... it didn't fit worth a damn and made my rear fenders unable to latch!!
toolbox is nice, exhaust is nice... mine had a crappy DG piece of junk with no baffle... DOH! , original rims and tires nice.... looks like original bars, nice...original grab bar, nice, looks like your front brake cable is missing the coating... make sure it doesn't get chewed up by the front wheel, mine has been chafed a bit because it flexes toward the wheel without the coating, I built a little bracket to keep it perpendicular with the forks and guide it away from the tire. Tank scoops look good. I got superscoops with mine ..... junk!
Nice wheeler though, I agree it has potential!!

after giving the guy gas money to meet me partway and driving to MO to pick it up I have $700 in it.

I was wanting the money pretty bad to order parts for my 250r. Finally found another way. And still have the 350x motor. Maybe some day I'll find a cheap rolling chassis to put it in

Take it easy man, I was just messing with you. I've seen how you are often quick to point out flaws in other people's rides and I didn't want you to stay up late working on mine...it's got lots of problems. :D

Looks like a good projetc to me, doesnt look like it needs anything but some TLC and some new clothes.
